Travel Medicine is a field of constantly changing information with the outbreaks and emerging infectious diseases occurring around the world. Having a Travel Medicine doctor and clinic in your network of healthcare practitioners can be beneficial because we stay up-to-date on current health events and stock vaccines necessary for travel. (Most primary care physicians do not stock travel vaccines.)

The Travel Doctor clinic will assist you in preparing for a trip by providing a pre-travel consultation and required immunizations. Ideally, it is best for your health to schedule an appointment at least 4 – 6 weeks before your departure, but we understand this is not always possible.

Control and prevention of the spread of diseases across borders is a major goal for all countries and physicians. The Travel Doctor clinic is available to provide care for any concerns you may have post-travel. Don’t wait if you suspect a problem. We have an on-site lab and imaging services to provide you with quick and efficient diagnostics.

Dr. Jeff Goudreau is an experienced physician board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Goudreau has been providing medical care in Dallas, Texas since 1989 with Medical Specialists Associated. He frequently appears as an On-Air Medical Expert for television Channels 4 and 11 in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
