DR.
PAUL SANDERS
Dr. Sanders opened his practice of Internal Medicine and joined the staff
of Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas in 1977. He served as President of the
Medical Staff in 1988-1989.
A native of Tyler, Texas, Dr. Sanders graduated from Lee High School. After
receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from North Texas State University, he
obtained his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in
Galvaston. Upon completing his internship and residency in Internal Medicine
at The University of Texas Medical Branch Hospital in 1976, he completed further
studies in asthma and lung immunology at the Johns Hopkins Institutions in
Baltimore, where he worked in clinical immunology, an area in which he continues
to have special interest.
Dr. Sanders is Clinical Assistant Professor at UT Southwestern Medical School.
He is board certified in internal medicine and is a Diplomat of the American
College of Physicians and a member of the American Society of Internal Medicine,
American College of Physician Executives, American Medical Society, Dallas
County Medical Society, International Society of Travel Medicine, Texas Club
of Internists, and Texas Medical Association.
DR.
MARK A. JOHNSTON
Dr. Johnston has been in private practice and on staff at Presbyterian Hospital
in Dallas since 1987. Although born in San Antonio, he claims Dallas as his
hometown having attended Jesuit High School and W.T. White High School. He
received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas Tech University where he
attended on a baseball scholarship. He continues to be actively involved in
sports.
Dr. Johnston received his Medical Degree from The University of Texas Southwestern
Medical School in Dallas, and completed his residency in Internal Medicine
at Good Samaritan and Veterans Hospitals in Phoenix. He is a member of the
American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, Texas Medical
Association, International Society of Travel Medicine, and Dallas County Medical
Society. Dr. Johnston places strong emphasis on preventive medicine and wellness
with special interests in hypertension and cardiovascular disease.
